FAQ
Yes. PolicyPocket is a licensed New Jersey insurance agency. Your policy is issued by a top carrier such as Progressive, Travelers or Mercury, and a licensed agent reviews it before it's official.
Yes. You never pay us anything, and we add nothing to your price. The rate you see is the insurance company's own rate. The carrier pays us for placing your policy, as it does with every agent.
We're the agency: we compare carriers, set up your policy and look after it. The insurance company issues the policy and pays claims.
Andy is our AI assistant. He walks you through your quote, explains coverage in plain language and answers questions at any hour. He doesn't replace your agent. A licensed agent reviews every policy.

Each insurance company weighs your driving record, your car and where you live differently, so the same coverage can cost very different amounts. That's the reason to compare.
It can. A quote is based on what you tell us. Before your policy is issued, the carrier checks your driving and claims history and confirms the final price, and you see it before you pay.
If you connect your current insurer, Andy can show how your quotes compare with what you pay now. Without it, we have nothing to compare against.
That's your decision, and we won't push you toward one. Andy explains what each level pays for and what happens when costs go beyond it.
Yes. Quote both in the same chat. Many carriers lower the price when both policies are with them.
No. Keep it until your new policy starts so you're never without coverage. Once the new one is active, you cancel the old one with your previous insurer, who will usually refund any unused premium.
